Add color and life to your aquarium with the intense Ludwigia Peruensis, better known as Ludwigia glandulosa, an impressive amphibious plant that thrives both partially and fully submerged. Spade-shaped leaves range in color from dark green to brownish-red, adding an active color accent to your tank. The top side of its leaves shows rich olive green, while the underside varies in color from reddish-brown to deep red.

This plant does best in the mid-ground of larger aquarium plants or as a stunning background plant in smaller ones and needs high light to reach its full potential. It will have its brightest colors with 3-5 watts per gallon of full-spectrum (5000-7000K) lighting. It will lose color if lighting is insufficient, so be sure to provide adequate illumination for the best coloration.
