Deep in a pocket of mossy forest, a lone traveler in red has paused halfway up a flight of stone stairs. Forest Haven is a handmade open-top moss microlandscape built inside a smoky gray high-borosilicate glass vessel — stone steps climbing a craggy, moss-covered cliff, a small evergreen leaning over the path, a flash of red Fittonia, and soft cushion-moss mounds rolling down to a pale pebble shore. At 9.4 inches tall, it's sized for a desk, a bookshelf, or a bedside table, and it arrives planted and ready to display.

• Miniature evergreen tree — a small-leaved woody evergreen with glossy leaves on fine, reddish branches, grown as a little tree that leans over the stairway.
• Red Fittonia (nerve plant) — crimson-pink leaves edged in deep green; the scene's pop of color.

Q. Are the moss and plants real?

A. Yes. The cushion moss, the little evergreen, the Fittonia, and the grass tuft are all living plants — not plastic or preserved. The stone, pebbles, and figurine are the decorative, non-living parts of the scene.

Q. How often should I water it, and can I use tap water?

A. About every 5–7 days. Use filtered, distilled, or bottled water — the minerals and chlorine in tap water can stress the moss and leave white spots on the glass. Pour slowly onto the soil until it's moist down to the base of the moss, and don't let water pool over it.

Q. Do I need the LED grow light?

A. Not if it lives in a bright room with indirect daylight. For a dim office, a bedroom, or a spot far from windows, choose the With Light option and run it 8–10 hours a day to keep the colors vivid.

Q. How long does delivery take?

A. About 1 to 1.5 months in total. Each terrarium is handmade after you order and then shipped internationally, so the timeline covers both crafting and shipping.

Q. Will mine look exactly like the photos?

A. Very close, but not identical. Every landscape is built by hand from stone and living plants, so stone shapes, plant sizes, and the figurine style can vary slightly from piece to piece.

Every landscape is handcrafted from stone, moss, and live plants, so slight variation from the photos is normal. If your piece arrives damaged or the plants don't establish, contact us and we'll make it right.

Unboxing Video Required: You MUST record a video BEFORE opening your package. This video is required for all DOA or damage claims.

12-Hour Reporting Window: All claims must be submitted within 12 hours of delivery. Claims after this window will not be accepted. No exceptions.

Photo Evidence Required: Submit clear photos of damaged or dead plants/moss along with your unboxing video.

Replacement Only — No Cash Refunds: We offer free replacement for eligible DOA claims. Cash refunds are not available for live plant products.

Not Covered:

• Claims submitted after 12 hours of delivery 

• Damage from improper care (overwatering, low light, extreme temperatures)

• Claims without unboxing video evidence
