Salvinia natans, also known as Floating Fern, is a floating aquatic plant that reproduces quickly and has a fast-growing rate. Found all over the globe, this plant is beneficial for any aquarium as it consumes ammonia and nitrates while providing shade and shelter for smaller top-dweller fish, and fry.

Salvinia Natans has green cup-like ruffled leaves and will form a 'carpet' on the surface of your aquarium. It is also a bigger type of Salvinia which sends side shoots and can grow to be 2" tall.

Salvinia natans is somewhat hard to find but a great option to substitute the more common Salvinia Minima.

Suitable for any aquarium type and pond.

RETURN POLICY
If you receive anything but a healthy plant, take 2 or 3 pictures in its unopened sealed bag and get in contact with us within 4 hours of the arrival of the package. We will get back to you after we've successfully examined the picture. If the plant is indeed dead/melted/damaged, we will gladly send you a replacement or we'll refund you if the item is no longer in stock.
After contacting us, and after we give you the green light to return an item, you can do so by shipping the item to the address we will then provide to you.
Do NOT send any items without contacting us first.

SHIPPING
Shipped via USPS First Class Package 2-3 days - All our plants are packed in heat-sealed durable plastic bags. They are packed with enough water to be comfortable and plenty of oxygen that lasts up to 1 week. They are then wrapped around in bubble wrap or newspaper, and put in durable boxes to prevent them from getting crushed.

Our Shipping days for Plants are Monday through Wednesday - orders placed on Wednesday after 7 a.m. (EST) will be shipped next Monday. This is done to avoid your plants getting stuck at a USPS facility over the weekend.
